I have a question that has had me bother for quite some time. What do you all think of the "Prevent Defense" that teams use when they have a lead?
I have always hated that system. I say go with what got you the lead. I like to see the safeties come to the ball more in those situations, rather than stay back and wait for it to come to them. The late Sean Taylor was great at that. Go after the ball, or hit the person who's supposed to get the ball harder. I miss the days of a really hard hitting safety. Roy Williams, Sean Taylor, Ronnie Lott, John Lynch, Brian Dawkins, the list can go on.
