No team in the NFL needs offensive weapons more than the J-E-T-S Jets!Jets!Jets!
Everyone expects they will take full advantage of the draft and dip into the talent pool where it is deepest -- at receiver. They might take two receivers and a tight end in their first five picks.
But rookie receivers are not going to help Geno Smith much in this vital second season. Hakeem Nicks and Eric Decker might not be No. 1 receivers, but the Jets would do well to sign one of them in free agency and still bring in a boatload of rookie talent.
Should the Jets be thinking wide receiver in free agency or the draft? The only answer is both.
