New Orleans could be missing two starters on defense when they face off against the Seattle Seahawks this Saturday. Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports reports that the team fears that Parys Haralson has torn a pectoral muscle, and he’s set to undergo further tests to confirm the full extent of the injury. Haralson was acquired via trade with the San Francisco 49ers, and he ended up starting eight games at outside linebacker. He finished the regular season with 30 tackles and 3.5 sacks, and only recorded a single tackle against the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday night. Will Herring took over for Haralson after he exited in the first half on Saturday, and he should get the start if Keyunta Dawson is inactive again. Keenan Lewis also suffered a concussion, and unless he somehow passes the concussion protocol, he will also be sidelined for the game. Haralson has played well, particularly against the run. His absence will make an already poor rush defense even more suspect against one of the best rushing teams in the league.
