Ready or Not, Like it or Not the Oakland Raiders are going make Headlines this year.

No one really seems to be looking at what is going on in Oakland, and why would they? After all, the Raiders are the only team not to make it to the playoffs from the AFC West last year. They haven't made the playoffs since they were last time they were in the Super Bowl, and with Peyton Manning heading to Denver and the resurgence of the Kansas City Chiefs with Andy Reid, the Raiders are far off the map of being considered any kind of contenders.

So Why Oakland?

Simply put, they are Ready.

The Raiders have the league exactly where they want them. Over the past two years Oakland's General Manager, Reggie McKenzie, has been creating a team that is far different from the Raiders that we were all used to these past few years. He completely dismantled any personell, players and coaches included from the final days of the Al Davis era. Now, under everyone's radar the Raiders have made some moves this off season that is giving the RaiderNation a glimmer of hope heading into the 2014 season.

Get Ready for some Silver and Black Spoilers.

The Add-Ons that the Raiders have made including Matt Schaub, Maurice Jones Drew and Justin Tuck to name a few is giving the Raiders Offense and Defense a whole new look. Grabbing Khalil Mack and Derek Carr in the draft might have been the steal of the draft, and signing Greg Little and James Jones is creating more and more of a competitive camp which can only produce better performances.

Along with the all the transactions on the personnel side, the Raiders find themselves in an interesting position the future home of the team. The Raiders contract in Oakland ends at the end of this season. Owner, Mark Davis has already offered $400 Million but the city has yet to answer, and we all know Davis has always wanted bring the Raiders back to Los Angeles.
