The Titans 2014 schedule was released April 23 and now knowing which players went where in the draft, the analysis of Tennessee's home schedule begins - for intriguing games.
September 14 vs. Dallas Former Tennessee Volunteers' head coach Derek Dooley returns to the Volunteer State. Dooley, now Dallas' wide receivers coach, returns to the stadium where his 2010 Tennessee team lost the Music City Bowl to North Carolina. The game is famous for the creation of the ten-second run-off rule.
October 5 vs. Cleveland Johnny Football returns to SEC country, and it should be a treat. Already a polarizing figure within the NFL, Manziel could have full reigns of the quarterback position by this point in the season.
November 17 vs. Pittsburgh The Titans versus the Steelers should have no explanation. Since the days of the Oilers versus Pittsburgh of decades past, to the Titans stomping on the Terrible Towel of recent years, this is still a great rivalry within the NFL - plus it's Monday Night Football.
December 7 vs. New York Giants Anytime a Manning comes to town, it's fun to see. Sure the Giants are not the Giants of their Super Bowl winning teams, but they should be better than last year's team. It's easy to place the Jadeveon Clowney Texans as a more intriguing home game, but Eli Manning makes the cut. Manning will now have an intriguing target to throw too in LSU rookie Odell Beckham, Jr.
December 14 vs. New York Jets This matchup could showcase Michael Vick coming to town, if healthy of course, or Geno Smith, Matt Simms and/or Tajh Boyd at quarterback - take your pick. Either way it's always fun to see Rex Ryan and the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets come in.
