Tennessee cornerback JaRon Toney, a fifth-year senior, has decided to give up football and leave the Tennessee program. Toney is on pace to graduate this summer and will pursue a professional career away from football.
"I'm very excited for him getting his college degree, and I'm very appreciative of everything he's done for Tennessee," Jones told the Knoxville News Sentinel.
Toney finishes his career with 79 tackles in 28 games while playing in nickel situations and special teams. He also returned five kicks for 98 yards.
