Tennessee sophomore linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin is doing okay after being shot in the arm while at a party early Sunday morning. The shooting took place in Reeves-Maybin's hometown, according to a report by the Clarksville (Tenn.) Leaf-Chronicle.
Reeves-Maybin was a special teams standout for the Vols last season and is currently a first-team linebacker.
According to the report, "said he was standing in the street when someone started shooting and he felt a sharp pain in his arm. He and his friends got in the car and left the scene."
Reeves-Maybin took to Twitter to inform everyone he is doing alright:
Butch Jones then commented on the situation. "It was just an abrasion," Jones said. "He didn't even need stitches. He got shot by a random bullet. It just basically grazed his arm."
