High School
Though you could see the match might work given Halliday’s high school work in Spokane. As a high school senior, he completed 310-of-477 passes for 4,198 yards and 43 touchdowns. He was named Tacoma News-Tribune All-State (all classifications) and All-State (4A).

He arrived at Washington State in 2010 and redshirted that first year.
