Early Life

Patterson was born on March 17, 1991 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. His football talent was recognized at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, he was a two-time NJCAA All-American. In 2012, he was ranked as the highest JUCO player in the country by 247Sports.com. He chose to play Division I football at Tennessee.
