Cory Redding is a defensive end for the Indianapolis Colts. He played college football at the University of Texas and was drafted in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft.

EARLY YEARS

Redding was born on November 15, 1980 in Houston, Texas. He played linebacker for North Shore High School in Galena Park, Texas. As a senior, Redding had 103 solo tackles, 15 sacks, 22 tackles for loss, six forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, and four interceptions on his way to being named the nation’s top linebacker and the Texas Class 5A Defensive Player of the Year.

UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS

At the University of Texas, Redding played in every game in his four-year career. He made 35 consecutive starts on the defensive line.
