Devin Smith is a wide receiver for The Ohio State Buckeyes of the Big Ten Conference. Phil Steele named Smith to his 2014 pre-season All-Big Ten second team. Smith also runs track for the Buckeyes.  

High School

Smith attended Washington High School in Ohio. A two-time first team All-State selection, Smith tallied 110 catches in his career for 2,119 yards. He also caught 24 touchdown passes, the second most in school history. Smith also excelled in track and basketball as a prep athlete.


Smith played in all 13 games as a freshman in 2011, tallying 294 receiving yards on 14 catches. Smith was responsible for the biggest play of the season for the Buckeyes as he caught a 40-yard touchdown pass from Braxton Miller with only 20 seconds left in the game to knock off 15th ranked Wisconsi...
