Christian Eriksen believes Tottenham will prove they are serious Champions League contenders by beating rivals Chelsea today.
Tottenham have failed to win at Stamford Bridge in 24 years but Eriksen is willing to win ugly if it means getting a result.
Tim Sherwood's side visit the Bridge down in fifth place, four points out of the lucrative fourth sport.
Tottenham face a difficult end to the season as they still have Arsenal and Liverpool to play, as well as a Europa League clash against Benfica.
Eriksen claims that Tottenham are going to make a serious move towards the top four for the remainder of the season.
"We have always believed in making the Champions League.
"And this Chelsea game is a chance to show we are serious contenders and still in the race.
"If we are going to get into the top four we have to win games."
Tottenham are full of confidence going into the game after back to back wins against Dnipro and Norwich.
"Nights like the one against Dnipro are what I came to Spurs for, it was a great felling.
"Now after the Cardiff win I hope we are building some momentum.
"You only get confidence if you win, it doesn't matter how,
"Now we are winning we need to continue like that, at this stage it is about the points."
