Evan Dietrich-Smith is an offensive lineman for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played collegiately at Idaho State and was undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft.

EARLY YEARS

Dietrich-Smith was born on July 19, 1986 in Salinas, California. He played high school football at the Salinas High School, where he played both offensive and defensive line. As a senior, he was the team MVP and earned first-team All-Tri-County on offense and defense.

IDAHO STATE UNIVERSITY

Dietrich-Smith started 44 games while at Idaho State from 2005 to 2008. He played several positions along the offensive line. As a senior, he started all 12 games at left tackle and was named the team MVP.

He was an All-Big Sky Conference honorable mention all four years in college.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

Dietrich-Smith signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent prior to the 2009 NFL Season. After seeing action in 13 games his rookie season, he was cut before the start of the 2010 NFL Season.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Dietrich-Smith signed with the Seahawks on September 5, 2010 but was cut weeks later without seeing any action.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

Dietrich-Smith signed with the Packers again on December 31, 2010 and earned his first Super Bowl ring against the Pittsburgh Steelers

Since 2011, Dietrich-Smith has played in all 48 games, including 25 starts. He started all 16 games at center for the Packers in 2013.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Dietrich-Smith signed a multi-year contract with the Bucs on March 14, 2014.
