Florida's Matt Jones Undergoes Second Meniscus Surgery

Florida running back Matt Jones underwent another surgery to repair the torn MCL he suffered last season.
"Matt Jones had his second surgery on his knee (Wednesday), and it was 90 percent healed," Florida coach Will Muschamp said, according to TampaBay.com. "They feel very comfortable that it's way further along than they thought it would be at this time, and feel really good about him progressing well."
Jones carried the ball 79 times for 339 yards and two touchdowns last season before suffering the injury in the Oct. 12 LSU game and missing the remainder of the season.
The 6-foot-2, 226-pound junior will sit out of spring practice, but is expected to be able to participate in summer workouts.
