True, that sub-heading is nowhere near as applicable as it was three years ago. And while both squads have lost household receivers — Greg Jennings, Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem — they’ve got quarterback play that’s so accurate, so mechanically gifted, so efficient and so purely indefensible at times, that they can never be counted out.
To the surprise of many, the Dallas defense currently looks like the tone-setting, momentum-creating unit. Expect the Saints and Packers to push the bend-but-don’t-break style to the absolute brink, to create and win one-on-one receiving matchups, and to give the Dallas secondary its biggest challenge of the season.
