Gentner: Stuttgart don't fear Bayern
Colombia's Santa Fe have become the first club to advance to the semi-finals of the 2013 Copa Libertadores with a 2-0 win over Real Garcilaso.
Jupp Heynckes' men go into the game looking to secure an unprecedented treble having already claimed success in the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League.
But Genter insists the underdogs can spring an upset at Berlin's Olympic Stadium.
"No we are not scared. We have a huge opportunity," he said.
"No one believes in us, so what should we be scared of? We just have the chance, the opportunity, to achieve something big again.
"The chance to finally get a title again for the club. It has been a while since we've won a title, so there's no room for fear but only positive pressure to help us achieve something big."
Genter also responded to Karl-Heinz Rummenigge's claims that Bayern could win the cup even if their players had been drinking alcohol.
"I think his choice of words were to say that even with an blood alcohol level of 180 millilitres they would still stand a chance," he added.
"Well that's their right, they are probably still rightfully euphoric after the season they've had. I have read his comments, but I haven't really paid attention to it.
"Should it give us motivation or not? We don't need any more motivation."
Gentner's team-mate Ibrahima Traore echoed those sentiments, but warned that his side have no room for error against intimidating opposition.
"Well it's still football, so you always have a chance," he added.
"Barcelona were perceived as the best team in the world, but Bayern has played differently against them and still clearly won against them.
"We know we have to stay focused during the game, not slacken off. We have to use mistakes in our favour and then we will have our chance eventually."
