Golden Tate Warrior! Phillies Get Detroit Lions Receiver for 3rd Round Pick


Wide receiver Golden Tate has been traded to the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of the NFL trade deadline.

The Super Bowl champs confirmed they acquired Tate in return for a third-round draft pick to the Detroit Lions.

Tate offered a farewell message to the Lions on Twitter after the deal became official.

Tate is off to a decent start in 2018. He caught 44 passes for 517 yards and three touchdowns in seven games to open the season. His 73.9 receiving yards per game are on pace to be a career high. Looks like his new QB is happy enough with the trade…
