The Broncos drafted corner Alphonso Smith in the second round of the 2009 draft. He played one season with the Broncos, playing in 15 games. Apparently the Broncos weren’t pleased with Smith, as they traded him for tight end Dan Gronkowski.

Since then, Smith has 74 tackles and eight interceptions. Gronkwoski played in 12 games with Denver, but caught just eight balls for 65 yards. He’s currently a member of the Cleveland Browns.
