The Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean Association of Football announced that Houston will be the hosting city of two Gold Cup games at BBVA Compass Stadium on July 15th, 2013. The double-header will start with the matchup between El Salvador and Haiti at 6 p.m. CST and will conclude with Trinidad and Tobago facing off against Honduras at approximately 8:30 p.m. CST.
These 4 teams are Group B in the CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifying rounds. They will all face each other in a tour consisting of New Jersey, Miami, and concluding here in Houston.
For Dynamo fans who just want to see their home team play that week, Houston will face New England on July 13th and then Chicago on July 27th. For Houston fans who care more about there here and now, Houston will face of against the Vancouver Whitecaps this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. CST in the great state of Texas.
Next Saturday the Dynamo will stay put in Houston to face off against the San Jose Earthquakes. Check your local listings to see where to catch all the action. If you live in the Houston area, you can expect to watch the Whitecaps game on CSN and the Earthquake game on Local 2. As always you can listen to the games on 1560 AM and/or 850 AM.
