May. 04, 2013 11:05 AM EST
Hull City have clinched promotion to the Premier League after a 2-2 draw with Cardiff City at the KC Stadium on Saturday.
It marks a return to the top flight of English football for the Yorkshire side after two seasons in the Premier League between 2008 and 2010.
Ex-Hull striker Fraizer Campbell put champions Cardiff in the lead to silence the home crowd but they hit back with goals from Nick Proschwitz and Paul McShane.
ncredibly, Hull were given the chance to wrap up promotion with a last-minute penalty, but the German striker's effort was saved by David Marshall and Cardiff went up the other end, earning a spot-kick of their own after an Amdy Faye handball, which was converted by Nicky Maynard.
Watford could have overtaken Steve Bruce's side with a win, but they were beaten at home by Leeds, with Ross McCormack scoring in the dying moments at Vicarage Road.
