Jordi Alba



Jordi Alba Ramos, known more simply as Jordi Alba, was born in L'Hospitalet, Spain on 21 March 1989. Having started his career as a speedy winger, he has subsequently established himself as an attack-minded left back and is now widely recognised as one of the elite full backs in European football.

Alba's career began at Barcelona's youth academy, but he was released in 2005 and moved to UE Cornellà. During his time there, he attracted the attention of Valencia, who signed him in 2007 for a fee of €6,000.
