Bio

Kyle Ratke decided to be a sports writer when he realized his athletic ability was non-existent. Seriously, we watched him try to play basketball once. It was horrible. He has interned for KFAN Sports Radio in Minneapolis, Minn. and for USA Today Sports. He covered the 2008 Minnesota State University women’s basketball team which ended up winning the National Championship. From 2009-2012, he has covered the Minnesota Vikings during training camp and has had one-on-one interviews with Jared Allen, Donovan McNabb and Antoine Winfield. Kyle has also won a Minnesota Newspaper Award for being the state’s best college columnist in 2008. He’s hosted a sports podcast since 2008 and has had guests such as Eric Decker, Mark Madsen and Chris Kluwe on the show.
