Upon enrolling at the University of Mississippi, Treadwell was able to make an immediate impact and went on to play in all 13 games for the Rebels, starting 12 of them. Over the course of the season, he had 72 receptions for 608 yards and five touchdowns, establishing new school freshman records for single season receptions, single season reception yards and single season touchdown receptions. Treadwell's 72 catches led the team for the 2013 season and was the second highest single season total in the school's history. Moreover, by registering nine catches against Vanderbilt on his debut, he set a new freshman record for receptions in a single game.
