Bio

Williams will be counted on to help put the Trojan defensive line back in the league’s upper echelon in 2014. The 2012 Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year, Williams would earn various All-American honors following the 2013 season. The 6-5, 290-pounder brings a wonderful combination of size, speed and power to the position and could be one of the Pac-12, and nation’s, best in 2014.

High School

Williams won all sorts of honors at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Fla., including Super Prep All-American, ESPNU 150, Super Prep All-Dixie and more as a nearly unblockable defensive lineman. He had 103 tackles (19.5 for loss) and 10.5 sacks as a senior in 2011.

College

As a true freshman in 2012, Williams was impressive, starting nine of 13 games and recording 64 tackles, including 13.5 for loss. He also put together eight sacks and earned freshman honors in the Pac-12 and nationally.

In 2013, Williams moved from defensive tackle to end and started 13 games. He recorded 74 tackles and had another 13.5 for loss to go with six sacks. He was a semifinalist for the Bednarik Award and was a first-team All-American for ESPN.com, as well as earning more All-American honors through different organizations and publications.

He will push for more All-American honors in 2014 after sitting out spring practice while healing up from shoulder surgery following the 2013 season.
