Marchisio focused on title celebrations

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio believes that Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Cagliari should not put a dent in any title celebrations.
The hosts fell behind to Victor Ibarbo's impressive first-half solo effort, only for Mirko Vuncinic to come off the bench after the break to salvage a point.
It means that they are now no longer able to beat their own record points haul for a Serie A season of 91, set in 2006 under Fabio Capello. But Marchisio claims there is still much to celebrate for the club and its fans.
The 27-year-old said: “The supporters have enabled us to enjoy another exciting day, they’ve come here in numbers to celebrate with us. We wanted to win for them and for the record, but this draw doesn’t take anything from a team that has been doing great things for two years."
Marchisio was also full of praise for his side's opponents, who put in a tenacious performance at the Juventus Stadium to frustrate their opponents and withstand heavy pressure during the second-half as the hosts searched for a winner.
“Congratulations to Ibarbo on his goal and to Cagliari for coming here with a positive approach, they made us dig deep and gave life to a good game," he added.
Juventus finish their title-winning campaign with a trip to Sampdoria on May 19.
