Foster was born on March 1, 1989 in Seaside, California. At Seaside High School, as a senior, Foster led Seaside High School to the 2006 CIF Central Coast Section small school championship. He played linebacker and quarterback for the team.
He was ranked the 68th-best linebacker recruit in the country according to Rivals.com.
UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON
As a sophomore, Foster led the Pac-10 Conference in tackles per game with 8.75 on his way to being named the Huskies’ Defensive MVP. He was an All-Pac-10 honorable mention as well.
As a senior, Foster was second in the nation with 162 tackles and was named an All-American.
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Considered one of the best linebackers in the draft, Foster was drafted in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers.
As a rookie, he was the opening day starter at middle linebacker. In three seasons, Foster has played in 47 games and made 44 starts. He had a career-high 105 tackles in 2012.
During the 2013 NFL Season, he had a career-high three interceptions. He returned two of those interceptions for TDs.
