Mourinho would be 'great' for Chelsea, claims Lampard

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard says he would welcome the return of Jose Mourinho to Stamford Bridge.
The Portuguese is widely expected to leave his current role as manager of Real Madrid at the end of the current season, and has been strongly linked with a return to the London club.
Lampard was part of a successful Chelsea side under Mourinho, winning two Premier League titles and three other major trophies during the 50-year-old's tenure.
"I think it would be a great thing for the club, I think he is a fantastic manager," Lampard said.
"I've seen speculation before and a completely different manager walks through the door so we never know on that front but he is certainly one of the greatest managers, if not the greatest, in world football.
"So I'm sure the club and the fans will be happy to have him."
Lampard's contract is due to expire at the end of the season, and the England international insists he would like to extend his stay with the club.
"Yes I would (like to stay), but let's see what happens," he added.
"I've always said I want to spend all my career here. I think everyone knows that."
The 34-year-old is set to start against Aston Villa on Saturday as he looks to break Chelsea's goalscoring record, he currently sits just two goals short of Bobby Tambling's tally of 202.
