Netherlands face China on Asia Tour
The Netherlands will face China in the second fixture of their Asia tour on Tuesday after earning a 3-0 victory over Indonesia.
Two goals from Ajax forward Siem de Jong and one from Arjen Robben led the Dutch to an easy victory on Friday, but they can expect a tougher contest against a team ranked 75 places higher by FIFA.
However, China saw their World Cup qualifying campaign ended in the third round, after four wins and four losses from eight fixtures proved insufficient.
Fans in China are certain to flock to see the likes of Manchester United striker Robin van Persie and Bayern Munich star Robben.
Those two flew out to Asia on June 3 alongside Jonathan de Guzman and Dirk Kuyt, though Rafael van der Vaart was forced to pull out due to an Achilles injury.
The sides have faced each other just once before, with the Netherlands running out 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Aron Winter and Johan de Kock in 1996.
Although the Dutch stars are sure to grab most of the headlines, Hao Junmin, 26, will be one to watch out for among the hosts' ranks after he scored five goals in their qualifying matches.
And coach Jose Antonio Camacho will be hoping for an unlikely victory following China's World Cup qualification disappointment.
