Ohio State safety Vonn Bell underwent minor knee surgery Thursday and will miss the remainder of the team's spring practice.
The sophomore suffered an MCL injury on Tuesday during the Buckeyes' first spring workout.
Bell recorded 19 tackles last season and proved himself with an interception in the Discover Orange Bowl. He is expected to be back with full participation in May.
"Thank you Buckeyenation and everyone else for all the prayers and speedy recovery," Bell wrote on Twitter. "I will be back."
