Jesse “Patton” Robinette is a quarterback for the Vanderbilt University Commodores of the Southeastern Conference.

High School

Robinette attended Maryville High School in Tennessee. He was a two-year starter who led his team to the 5A state championship in 2011. Robinette threw for 1,522 yards and tossed 22 touchdown passes while rushing for 886 yards and 16 TD’s on the ground. He earned Gatorade State Player of the Year honors for his efforts and was a finalist for the 5A Mr. Football award.


Robinette redshirted in 2012 but saw significant action in 2013 as he appeared in 10 games and started in the BBVA Compass Bowl. He also started against Texas A&M and Florida. Robinette entered the game off the bench against Georgia and led the Commodores to 17 fourth quarter points and a ...
