Predicting Weekend's Big SEC Games

Created on Oct. 11, 2013 6:20 PM EST

We're now into the second month of the college football season and now is when it starts to get good, especially in the SEC.

While we have already seen high-quality matchups like Alabama-Texas A&M and Georgia-LSU, the SEC season still has a lot to offer, especially this week.

This week features two big matchups — Missouri at Georgia and Florida at LSU.

Georgia is coming off a close win over Tennessee. It was a game that saw running back Keith Marshall and wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley lost for the season with injuries. Missouri comes in undefeated at 5-0, but has only played one SEC team in Vanderbilt. The rest of their schedule included Murray State, Toledo, Indiana and Arkansas State. The Bulldogs will be their first real test of the season.

Florida and LSU is the highlight game this week. A loss for the Tigers will give them a second loss in the SEC, despite having yet faced Alabama and Texas A&M. For Florida, it's a game that means everything considering they have South Carolina and Georgia left on the schedule. The defense has been dominant, allowing 12.2 points per game. The offense is the question, however, with quarterback Tyler Murphy getting his first action against a Top-10 team.

So, who will win these matchups?
