Collison, who has played a part in West Ham's past 11 Premier League matches to take his season tally to 16 games, has called on the east London club to ensure a top-half finish with victory against Reading on Sunday.
The 24-year-old Welsh midfielder feels the final match of the season is an opportunity to celebrate "a magnificent season".
"We're really looking forward to the Reading game, back at home, in front of our fans and hopefully we'll have reasons to celebrate," Collison told the club's official website.
"It has been a magnificent season for us.
"Safety was the main aim and we'll look to finish as high as possible and put on a real show for our fans."
Reading, who came into the Premier League from the Championship alongside West Ham at the start of the campaign, will return to England's second tier next season.
But they could wrap up a fourth consecutive victory over West Ham if they triumph at Upton Park on Sunday.
West Ham last defeated Reading in 2007 and Collison has wants to end that disappointing run with a long-awaited victory, one which will also ensure the hosts stay ahead of Stoke on the Premier League table and wrap up 10th place.
"Reading have been our bogey team over the last two seasons and obviously we're going to try to send out a statement and score as many goals as we can," Collison said.
In the past three clashes between the two teams (last season in the Championship and in December in the Premier League), Reading have held West Ham scoreless and the London club's manager, Sam Allardyce, will be wary of that happening again.
West Ham have not scored this month, while they have not won since their 2-0 triumph over Wigan on April 20.
Meanwhile, Reading head into Sunday's fixture with just one victory from their past five games, a 4-2 triumph away to Fulham on May 4.
