After spring and fall camps filled with speculation, questions and competition, head coach Mike Riley has named junior Sean Mannion as Oregon State's starting quarterback. Mannion beat out senior Cody Vaz for the gig.
Last week, multiple news outlets reported the two would split time in the Beavers' first game against Eastern Washington. That appears to not be the case now, as reported by Lindsay Schnell and Connor Letourneau of the Oregonian. To the delight of fans who worried over a two quarterback system, Mannion will be the main man(nion) in Corvallis.
