No. 6: Harder Than It Looks For Texas Tech

This is going to be harder than it looks for the Red Raiders and their new coaching staff. The new starting quarterback debuts on the road against SMU and the Air Raid offense Kliff Kingsbury preaches is the one he learned from people taught by SMU’s offensive coordinator, Hal Mumme. The Mustangs have the summer months to get familiar. A week later, a home game against FCS offensive juggernaut Stephen F. Austin is no joke. That’s followed by a home game against TCU before a home game against a very manageable opponent, second-year FBS Texas State and former TCU, Alabama and Texas A&M coach Dennis Franchione.
