Ranking The Top 50 Players In The SEC: Nos. 10-1

Created on Aug. 06, 2014 5:58 AM EST

6. Mike Davis, RB, South Carolina

The SEC is stocked with running backs this year, and Mike Davis starts the group of top-tier running backs in the conference.

Davis was a second-team All-SEC selection a year ago and is a preseason second-team selection for 2014. He was also selected as a preseason third-team All-American.

Davis finished last season with 1,183 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, and with Connor Shaw gone this season, Davis is going to be leaned upon heavily to get South Carolina's offense going on the ground.
