9. Nick Marshall, QB, Auburn

Nick Marshall was named an all-SEC honorable mention in 2013, but there are high expectations of him this year after helping lead the Auburn Tigers to the national title game.

Marshall was selected to the preseason firstteam All-SEC for 2014 and will look to improve upon his numbers from last year. Marshall finished with 1,976 passing yards and 14 touchdowns while rushing for 1,068 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Of course, no play was bigger in his career than his pass that somehow found the hands of Ricardo Louis against Georgia on fourth down. Follow that up with a miracle against Alabama and Marshall had a season to remember.

He'll have to depend more on his arm this year with Tre Mason gone, although the read-option is likely to still be a huge part of his arsenal.
