Reese Dismukes is a center for the Auburn University Tigers of the Southeastern Conference. He was named a Sporting News preseason first-team All-American for the 2014 season.
Dismukes attended Spanish Fort High School in Alabama. ESPN.com listed Dismukes as the top center in the nation for his class. He was also a Parade All-American and an Under Armour All-American. As a senior, he helped lead Spanish Fort to the Class 5A state title. He did not allow a sack during his sophomore or junior seasons.
Dismukes started at center as a true freshman for Auburn in 2011. He was one of only two Auburn players to start every game and was the first true freshman to start at center for the Tigers since 2007. The SEC coaches selected Dismukes to their All-Freshman Team. CBS Sports named Dismukes a Freshman All-American. He was named to the Rimington Trophy watch list and was a preseason second-team All-SEC selection by the media.
He was named the SEC lineman of the week for his performance against Georgia. Dismukes would start at center again in 2013 and became a Rimington Trophy finalist and a first-team All-SEC center. Dismukes tallied 124 knockdowns and was named a Sporting News third-team All-American. He was named a game captain by Auburn every game and earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Auburn honored Dismukes with the Ken Rice Award which goes to their best blocker.
