3. 6. Maryland
Maryland will start its conference campaign with a matchup at Florida State and finish out the season with seven straight conference matchups.
C.J. Brown returns at quarterback after a knee injury kept him out last season. The team will need the added offense. One of the perils of being in the Atlantic Division is the guarantee to play three of the top four scoring defenses from last season. Maryland faces two of them, Florida State and NC State, on the road. Adding to the difficulty, Brown and crew will play at Virginia Tech.
Brown and talented receiver Stefon Diggs will certainly get a chance to see how they stack up against the toughest defenses in the conference. While they have the potential to put up some good numbers, the team will have an uphill battle to in the division race.
