Sam Bradford Carted Off With Major Leg Injury
The St. Louis Rams season could potentially take a serious turn for the worse after QB Sam Bradford was carted off the field in the fourth quarter with what looks to be a major leg injury.
While running out of bounds, Bradford was shoved from behind and fell to the ground in pain. He was unable to put any pressure on his left leg, and a cart was brought on to take him to the locker room.
Bradford finished the day with 255 yards on 21-of-30 passing attempts with a touchdown and an interception.
Kellen Clemens took Bradford's place behind center, but the game was pretty much over at that point.
There are some speculating that Bradford may have torn his ACL, which would keep him out for the rest of the year. It would be an absolutely devastating blow to an inconsistent offense, and it would all but sink any hopes the team has of making the playoffs.
Update: Bradford was seen in crutches and an immobilizing brace on his left knee, according to Bryan Burwell of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
