Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone remains grounded despite his side extending their unbeaten run to 14 competitive games against Porto.
Simeone's men are second in La Liga and arrived in Portugal on the back of a stunning victory over their fierce city rivals Real.
They have not lost a competitive fixture since May and are top of their UEFA Champions League group with six points from two games.
Victory in Porto was secured despite falling behind to a Jackson Martinez strike, with Diego Godin levelling the scores before Arda Turan struck the winner late on.
The Argentine was impressed with his side's reaction but refused to get carried away with their unbeaten run.
"We will go on taking things game by game," he insisted. "We are very happy – we did a great job.
"It was a fantastic response to what was an adverse situation.
"It's incredible the reaction we produced. Everyone put in a great performance. The team must be congratulated."
Atletico return to league action on Sunday against Celta Vigo at the Vicente Calderon.
