6. South Alabama

Ladd-Peebles Stadium

Mobile, Ala.

Capacity: 40,600

Opened: 1948

The oldest and largest stadium in the Sun Belt (excluding the Georgia Dome during non-Georgia State games) has been home to South Alabama since the Jaguars started playing football in 2009. Home to the GoDaddy.com Bowl and the Senior Bowl, the stadium is named after Ernest F. Ladd, a local banking magnate who died in 1941, and civic leader E.B. Peebles.
