3. 2. Tony Gonzalez (14 week, 47 season)
Gonzalez now has back-to-back weeks with 14 targets and has been a monster at the tight end position. Against the New York Jets, Gonzalez grabbed 10 of his 14 targets for 97 yards, although he didn’t find the end zone. Going forward, things get very interesting for grandpa Gonzalez and the Falcons, as they are left with Harry Douglas and question marks at wide receiver after Julio Jones busted up his foot, and Roddy White has seemingly injured half of his body through five weeks. Gonzalez should be a rock-solid tight end option and will grace this list frequently over the remainder of the 2013 season. While the injury impact will be terrible for the Atlanta team, it will be quite a boost for Gonzalez’ fantasy prospects and that, my friends, is what we like to see.
