Bio

A question mark position entering 2013, defensive end is now a strength for the Oregon Ducks with the emergence of Tony Washington. The 6-3, 250-pounder answered all the questions a year ago and enters the 2014 campaign as an anchor for the Duck defensive line after earning honorable mention All-Pac-12 honors a year ago. He led the Ducks defense in sacks, tackles for loss and forced fumbles.

High School

As a senior, Washington was league defensive MVP for Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. He tallied 87 tackles and 11.5 sacks in his final high school campaign and entered Oregon as a three-star recruit.

College

Redshirted his freshman year in 2010 before appearing in 10 games as a redshirt freshman in 2011. In 2012, he played in all 13 games with starts against California and in the Fiesta Bowl. He recorded 20 tackles during the season. In 2013, he battled his way into the starting lineup and finished with 60 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and 12 tackles for loss and forced four fumbles. More importantly, he solidified a position that was a question mark entering the season.
