Top Five Players On The Houston Defense

Created on May. 26, 2013 10:20 AM EST

No. 1 J.J. Watt

Much like Cushing, Watt was a 1st round pick for the Texans. In only his second year in the league, Watt finished just one vote shy of being the unanimous choice for the 2012 defensive player of the year. He also finished 4th in the MVP voting.

Watt played all 16 games in 2012 which led to 81 total tackles, 20.5 sacks and four forced fumbles.

If Watt can be a dominate force once again, there is a possibility that the Texans have two players on the same roster going for the NFL MVP with Watt and running back Arian Foster.
