#6 Cam Newton, Carolina 2011

Newton is one of the greatest combinations of size and speed the quarterback position has ever seen. He changed the way that teams had to prepare for mobile quarterbacks with his amazing rookie campaign in 2011. Newton threw for 4,051 yards and 21 touchdowns, adding an NFL single-season record for quarterbacks with 14 rushing touchdowns. These numbers led to the NFL Rookie of the Year honors.

Even so, Newton does face inconsistencies in his game. Through two full seasons, Newton has thrown 29 interceptions. Newton also saw a sizable dropoff from his rookie season in year two, completing less than 60% of his passes.
