#2 Mario Williams, Houston 2006

Williams was one of the most highly scrutinized top picks in draft history. He was picked over Reggie Bush, to much surprise, and has since tortured opposing quarterbacks as one of the best pass rushers in the NFL.

Williams has piled up 63.5 sacks in his seven seasons, including 14 in 2007 and 12 in 2008, both All-Pro years. Williams is also known as one of the best 4-3 defensive ends against the run. He does sometimes struggle with effort, sometimes disappearing for games at a time. This was remedied with a move to Buffalo last year where Williams totaled 10.5 sacks.
