Trevor Siemian is a quarterback for the Northwestern University Wildcats of the Big Ten Conference.
Siemian attended Olympia High School in Florida where he led the Titans to a District Championship in 2009 as a senior. He threw for 2,494 yards and 24 touchdowns that season. Rivals.com ranked Siemian the 39th best pro-style quarterback recruit in the country.
After redshirting in 2010, Siemian appeared in eight games in 2011 for Northwestern. He threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns. Siemian’s first career touchdown pass came against Eastern Illinois, a one-yard strike to Tyris Jones. He emerged as a big-time playmaker in 2012 as he threw for 1,312 yards while sharing the QB duties with Kain Colter. He led a dramatic comeback victory over Syracuse, entering for the final drive and taking the Wildcats on a 75-yard game winning drive. He made his first career start against Indiana and threw for 308 yards in a 44-29 win.
In Northwestern’s win over Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl, Siemian led two touchdown drives, including one drive that culminated in his first career rushing touchdown. As a junior in 2013, Siemian threw for 2,149 yards and 11 touchdowns, often filling in for a banged up Colter throughout the season. Siemian was named Academic All-Big Ten and threw for 414 yards against Illinois as Northwestern took back the Land of Lincoln Trophy.
