Tyson Alualu is a defensive end for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played college football at the University of California and was drafted in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

EARLY YEARS

Alualu was born on May 12, 1987 in Honolulu, Hawaii. While at Saint Louis High School in Hawaii, Alualu recorded seven sacks and had 59 tackles on his way to being named the ILH Player of the Year as a senior.

According to Rivals.com, Alualu was the second best prospect in Hawaii and the 24th-best defensive tackle prospect in the country in 2005.

UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA

Alualu played in 52 games (39 starts) during his four years at Cal. As a sophomore, his first season as a full-time starter, Alualu had 52 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one interception.
