USMNT Big Board: Gold Cup Edition
With the last two friendlies coming up (and their rosters to be announced imminently), here is my projection for the current state of the U.S. Men's National Team going into the Gold Cup selection process.
The roster for the friendlies won't be exactly the same as the Gold Cup roster, but it should provide some insight particularly into the European-based field.
No national-side manager, Klinsmann in particular, is strict about positions, so this chart is a bit simplified to fit Klinsi's 4-4-2 diamond formation.
The way to read this is that my projected call-ups are the first and second strings at each position, plus a third goalkeeper (likely Yarbrough).
