Venric Mark

Venric Mark is a running back and a return man for the Northwestern University Wildcats of the Big Ten Conference. Phil Steele named him a 2014 pre-season fourth team All-American as an All Purpose player on Special Teams and a second team All-Big Ten running back.

High School

Mark was a three-sport athlete at St. Piux X High School in Texas. In football he was named team MVP twice and was an honorable mention All-State selection as well. Mark averaged more than eight yards per carry his senior season and tallied 20 total touchdowns, including four return TD’s. He lettered in track and soccer as well.


Mark played right away as a true freshman at Northwestern in 2010. He averaged 12.9 yards per punt return and 26.2 yards per kick return with one touchdown. Mark’s kick-off return for...
